About Us
ABOUT THE OUTLAW HERBALIST™
Some of us don't find our path. We survive our way back to it.
The Outlaw Herbalist™ is rooted in a simple belief: the more we understand, the more power we have to make informed choices for ourselves.
My path here wasn't linear. It was forged.
For more than twelve years I built a career in purchasing, inventory management, forecasting, and operations. I understood systems — how they work, where they break, and what happens when they're pushed beyond what they can sustain.
Eventually I started asking those same questions about myself.
I stepped away from corporate life carrying more than I should have had to. What brought me back to myself wasn't a plan. It was a memory — my grandmother walking me into a quiet little shop filled with herbs and crystals, not knowing what it was, just knowing it felt good. She is a deeply religious woman. If she had realized, she probably would have had something to say about the books catching my attention.
But something in that space always felt like safety to me.
I've been returning to that feeling ever since.
The Outlaw Herbalist™ grew from that return.
Today it's a sanctuary for botanical teas, single herbs, ritual tools, education, and handcrafted goods made with intention in the California desert.
But this isn't about pretending plants are magic answers to everything.
It's about knowledge. Curiosity. Reclamation.
Reclaiming old wisdom.
Reclaiming ritual.
Reclaiming our relationship with the natural world.
Reclaiming the right to decide what a meaningful life looks like for ourselves.
That's where the Outlaw comes in.
The Outlaw Herbalist™ exists under Transcendent Roots LLC — which also reflects the other part of my work: systems, strategy, and business consulting for small brands who are building something real.
Two worlds. One philosophy.
Understand the system. Support the roots. Build something that can actually sustain itself.
This space will keep growing as I do. More plants. More education. More creation. More ways of bringing old knowledge into real modern life.
No perfection required.
Just roots deep enough to hold.
Welcome to The Outlaw Herbalist™.
Rooted in Nature. Built with Purpose.
